What specific topics will the refresher course cover to ensure I am up to date with the current requirements of the ISO standard?
Refresher Courses cover all the requirements of the Standard. As we use e-Learning methods, the Learner can quickly cover those parts of the standard with which they are familiar or unchanged.
Sample procedures and records are included where relevant. Though many are available, we do not address the use of software apps.
Course Content
How will the course address the practical application of any new concepts or changes in the standard?
Where they arise, such changes are covered in detail.
How frequently is the refresher course updated to reflect ongoing changes in the ISO standard?
Like all our Courses, refresher courses are updated whenever Standards are revised or significant changes to legal or regulatory requirements occur.
What are the common challenges auditors face in applying the ISO standard, and how does the course address them?
The many challenges auditors face are addressed in our Auditing Skills Modules and the associated Scenarios Modules.
Will the course discuss any recent trends in auditing, such as digital transformation or remote auditing practices?
Yes. Remote Auditing to the extent permitted by accreditation boards and the IAF are included where relevant.
Course Materials
Are there case studies or real-world examples included in the course to illustrate the application of the updated standard?
Module 3 of each Course is devoted to Scenarios.
Will the course include interactive elements, such as discussions or group activities, to enhance my learning experience?
No live discussions are included. However, quizzes and FAQs are included in each Lesson to address commonly asked questions in addition to our 24/7 free Tutor Support.
Will I receive any materials or resources for further study after completing the refresher course?
No. The Courses have been designed to be complete in themselves.
Are there assessments or evaluations to gauge my understanding of the material presented in the course?
Every Lesson includes a Quiz to help you check on your progress.

The wide range of courses offered for each standard in our course program caters to specific interests and needs.

This is beyond what is practical for inclusion in a general course. However, we can address such questions through our free 24/7 Tutor Support.

Via the flexibility that e-Learning offers especially in relation to completing the course at a pace suited to the Learner with the ability to retake Lessons where needed.
Certification
What kind of certification or recognition will I receive upon completing the refresher course?
A Certificate stating that you have completed the Course and associated Examinations and issued under our organization’s ISO 21001 Certification.

Refresher Courses
Why Take a Refresher Course?
Many ISO Management System Standards are now beginning ‘to show their age’. For ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, the relevant ISO Sub-committees have already stated that they have no plans to revise these Standards are their usual 5 to 8-year cycle. For ISO 13485, the regulatory scene is currently in such a state of flux globally that a revision is not anticipated until 2028 at the earliest.
What, then if your knowledge of these Standards is getting rusty?
Our policy has been to be flexible with our Certificates. We consider the 3-year limit to certificate validity to be little more than a money-making racket. We have left it to the cycle of revisions to the Standards to prompt our Certificated Learners to take Conversion Courses; that is, to update only when necessary.
This policy has worked well until now, when ISO still needs to revise old Standards. We have Certified Learners who last trained seven years ago. It’s now well gone when retraining is justified, so we introduce the Refresher Courses.

What Are My Choices When It Comes to Refresher Courses?
If you are an Internal Auditor or a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, you can take one of our refresher courses and receive an updated ISO Auditor Certificate. The same also goes if you are a certified auditor for ISO 14001 or ISO 13485.
What if the Refresher Course I want is not available?
Our offering grows as older Standards are not revised. Check out the menu at the top of the page to see what’s currently available.
Are there any discounts available for returning students?
No. But our Learners are kept informed of the discount offers available from time to time.
What prerequisites are required to enrol in the refresher course?
None are mandatory. One should have already studied the Course in question.
What kind of support is available during the course if I have questions or need clarification?
