Why Take a Refresher Course?
Many ISO Management System Standards are now beginning ‘to show their age’. For ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, the relevant ISO Sub-committees have already stated that they have no plans to revise these Standards as per their usual 5 to 8-year cycle. For ISO 13485 the regulatory scene is currently in such a state of flux globally that a revision is not anticipated until 2026 at the earliest.
What then if your knowledge of these Standards is getting rusty?
Our policy has been to not time-limit our Certificates. We consider the 3-year limit to certificate validity to be little more than a money-making racket. We have left it to the cycle of revisions to the Standards to prompt our Certificated Learners to take Conversion Courses; that is, to update only when necessary.
This policy has worked well until now when ISO has failed to revise old Standards. We have Certified Learners who have last trained seven years ago. It’s now well gone the time when retraining is justified and so we introduce the Refresher Courses.

What Are My Choices When It Comes to Refresher Courses?
If you are an Internal Auditor or a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, you can take one of our refresher courses and receive an updated ISO Auditor Certificate. The same also goes if you are a certified auditor for ISO 14001 or ISO 13485.

Course states 24 hours, I would say it took double that time to complete. Had some technical difficulties but Ultan King in support has been very helpful in resolving all issues.

Have only completed the first part of the course, enjoying it immensely, so far. the content is thorough and clearly explained. I only have one small observation – that it may be better using a real person, or even person(s) to present rather than a computer generated voice which can be a little wearing over time.

Just completed my online internal auditor transition course (ISO 9001:2015). Now, the illusion is that online courses are easy, and there is no value in them at all. Well, forget that one, this course is no pushover by any means and the way it is structured really does push you.
