Two reasons this happens and both have to do with your connection to the internet.
The first possibility is that you’re using a company network to access the internet and the security settings chosen by your IT colleagues are interfering with your ability to transmit data. You have three options:
- Ask IT to ‘whitelist’ https://degrandson.inquisiqlms.com/ for the duration of your Course,
- Use a computer that connects directly to an ISP (such as a home computer), or
- Take a screenshot of the Exam Results and forward it to us so that we can manually adjust your record.
The second possibility is that you have a slow or a poor-quality internet connection. A slow connection between your computer and our LMS is usually caused by broadband contention, that is, a large number of people on the internet in your locality. A poor-quality connection is one where the connection is dropping out (may only be for some microseconds) due to the low-grade equipment being used by your ISP. Even the fastest internet services can have this problem.
If this is a repeated problem you have two options:
- Use a mobile phone hotspot to connect to the internet. 4g and 5g connections now offer great upload speeds without interruption.
- If a mobile hotspot is not possible, and you must take your Exams over a problematic wired internet connection, then do so early in the morning – Saturdays and Sundays are the quietest.
